Relax, home inspections are not a pass or fail! They normally point out normal maintenance recommendations, expected life expectancies, and minor issues. However, sometimes we do stumble across a defect in a home that you may have not noticed on your initial walk through.
These defects tend to be not noticeable but can cause issues down the road if they are not addressed. An example of this is a leak in the roof. It starts out small. but water will continue to deteriorate the house until the problem is found and fixed.

What is inspected During a General home inspection
As a member on InterNACHI we are required to inspect certain aspects of a house when they are accessible. These components are:

- Drainage sump pumps with accessible floats
- Electrical service line and meter box,
- Main disconnect and service amperage

- GFCIs and AFCIs,
