There are a lot of moving parts of buying a home and we try to keep it simple and move the process along smoothly.
Relax, home inspections are not a pass or fail! They normally point out normal maintenance recommendations, expected life expectancies, and minor issues. However, sometimes we do stumble across a defect in a home that you may have not noticed on your initial walk through.
These defects tend to be not noticeable but can cause issues down the road if they are not addressed. An example of this is a leak in the roof. It starts out small. but water will continue to deteriorate the house until the problem is found and fixed.
No home is perfect so we try and find issues to ensure you are in a healthy home and you are making a safe investment for your future!

Our inspectors are certified to investigate for the possibility of Wood Destroying Organisms within a home. These organisms cause on average of 5 billion dollars worth of property damage each year! We try and find them before it is too late
Ensuring your water is safe to use is important. the EPA recommends you test your well water at least once per year for bacteria and nitrates/nitrites and every 3-5 years for chemical contaminants. This can be very important with young children in the house or expecting mothers.
